First work I sent out as I don't have the facilities: new spring plate bushings, control arm bushings; lowered to European ride height and corner balanced. Bushings are OEM rubber type from Elephant; not planning on tracking or AX so not going for polybronze.

Need to replace the shift coupler and the passenger floorboard. Will probably use a Rennline aluminum floorboard; would like to repalce driver's side as well but there doesn't appear to be an ABS or aluminum aftermarket version available for Sportos. Anyone know what producing one of those would take?

Since my original posts I've done a few things, nothing major:

1. Replaced dry rotted 165SR15 Michelin XWXs with 195/65-15 Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Positions.
2. Removed original Repa rear lap belts, replaced with Peparts 3-point inertia-reel belts.
3. Replaced door seals.
4. Reglued door cap vinyl.
5. Bought a set of Cocomats, which required that I draw a template for the Sporto-specific driver's side front mat. This is now on file with cocomats.com, if anyone desires a set.

When it arrived here 14 January 2009 the temp was only about 15 degrees F. I managed to drive it about four blocks from where the enclosed trailer dropped it off (it couldn't get down my narrow side street) to my home. Since then we have only had two days with temps above freezing. With all the salt on the streets here this winter, this car is not going to leave my garage or driveway for some time.

In any case, I did start it up and back it out of the garage so that I could tidy up a bit. After that, I drove it back in and snapped this not-so-great mobile phone photo.
