We came across this car in 2002 via my brother-in-law who is a school teacher in Portland, OR. This car was listed on the schools classified website. It was in storage, outside, with a tattered blue tarp covering her. The night we looked at it, there was atleast an inch of standing water in the floors of the cockpit. While I was hoping to get her for a song, we ended up agreeing on $3000. We were just beginning construction of our personal house, so this car sat in storage another 2-1/2 years before we got started tearing her apart. This car was my motivation to get the house finished. After completely stripping the shell, it was taken to a dip-stripper (so will gasp) which revealed quite a bit more rust than we'd realized. The rust repair/paint work was performed at Blackforest Restoration in Springfield in 2006/2007. I've been putting her back together ever since. Our tangerine dream is just about roadworthy. Hoping for many enjoyable drives this year.
