Ian's 1972 Porsche 911T, Sportomatic

Hi guys, I live in New Zealand where I have owned Porsches for over twenty years and work full-time as a broker of these the world’s greatest sports car!

A few months back I purchased a 1972 911T Sporto which was originally delivered to Australia hence it has an MFI engine not the usual carb model as most RHD countries received. It is fully restored and has been a joy to drive.

I have found to be a really nice albeit different “take” on 911 ownership.

There are a lot of Porsches in NZ so much so that I can make a living out of brokering them but there are not many sportos which is why I bought this one. It is rare to find a restored early 911 which is another reason why I snapped it up for myself even if it isn’t the original color. I also have a 1967 and 1970 911S both in RHD. These pre-1974 cars really spin my wheels!
