Saw your web site and thought I would send an email on mine. The car has 39,400 miles ( yes 39K )! Runs great and most of the time just sits in my garage. No rust at all.  So far no sportomatic problems. Car needs to be repainted someday although this is the original paint and I am reluctant?

I live near Philadelphia Pa. I have never been to any Porsche events maybe I should go to the one in Hersey Pa. Do not know anyone else who has a 911 let alone a sportomatic. I bought the car a few years ago cheap. It had sat for about 20years in a garage with a 1/4 tank of gas, you can imagine what the carbs and tank looked like. I rebuilt the zenith's ( easy jog ) and pulled the tank and had it cleaned. I replaced the fuel pump, all fuel lines, shocks, points, plugs, wires, exhaust, oil lines, seats with racaro 77 turbo seats, back targa deck panel, brake lines, H4 headlights, distributer ect, changed the bumpers to 73 euro type and whoever had the car before me screwed up or did not understand the decelleration circuit so that needed to be rewired correctly. Car has factory air and the chrome option's, look on fenders. Everything works except the clock...

I have lots of parts if you know anyone needing something let me know. Also if anyone has any tech problems or questions let me know I may be able to help, I have all the workshop manuals from a dealer.
